Mr Moose visits the rabbit hospital…

Mr Moose came in to my care early December 2024 when his owner became ill. He was a house bunny but showing signs of stress with weight and hair loss. His owner was concerned.

As soon as we met the big fellow, my whole family fell in love. He is super friendly, loves a head massage and just wants to have friends. Our hearts melted for this big guy. He enjoyed the toasty winter fire, Christmas Day stockings, dried tomato leaves but his new favourite - getting to hop in to our garden.

Unfortunately Monday morning 10th March, Mr Moose didn’t hop in to the kitchen excited for his breakfast but sat still and quiet

I went straight to the Exotic specialist vet hospital not far from mine and although they very fully booked, he was admitted in to their care. It started as maybe £100 fees then crept to £500 then higher and higher as they tried to work out what had happened

Surgery loomed and they had to look inside. His intestine wasn’t running along his body but crumpled on his stomach. Amazing vet corrected it but now he’s in post op intensive care as I write

I am using this link as a way of gathering money for a variety of ways that myself and my wonderful friends are going to fundraise for him.

We are planning: luxury hampers, skincare promos, wellness mornings, dance classes, felting workshops. I’m so thankful to be part of such an amazing online community
