Mr. Raymond's Appreciation Gift

Hello, we are seniors at Paloma Valley High School in Menifee, CA.  The man in the picture is a social science teacher at Paloma by the name of Dennis Raymond. Not only is he a wonderful educator but also a great role model and mentor.  Mr. Raymond is a teacher who not only does his duty of preparing his students for AP tests but goes above and beyond that. He is the type of teacher that every person looks back on in their life. Dennis Raymond inspires all of his students on the daily, by telling stories of the surgeries and hardships he has endured but pushes kids to better themselves every day.

Mr. Raymond has done nothing but give to the students at Paloma Valley. He gives not only his own personal time to them but his emotions as well. An example of this is one of our fellow classmates was having issues with depression and anxiety and was admitted to a mental institution. While this student was away, Mr. Raymond took the time out of his day to send them an email. The email went a little something like this, "Things are probably a bit complicated in your world right now. To quote an old movie "kid, you've got moxie." What the heck is moxie? Well, I think it means that you are a strong person with a strong will. You have character, you have personality, you will 'will' yourself to success." That is just one of many examples of how Dennis Raymond is an extraordinary. 

Dennis truly just loves what he does and all the students that he teaches every day. We as students of Dennis want to give back to him by getting him tickets to this favorite play Hamilton. Any dollar amount helps as we would truly just like to give back a fraction of what he has given to us. Thank you so much for any help you guys give! Love PVHS Class of 2017 :)
