Mr. Salazar’s Buddy Bench at Parkside

Hi, my name is Marc Aponte, and I’m trying to help raise money to fund a Buddy Bench for Ray Salazar at Parkside Elementary.

As many of you know, Ray was the principal at Parkside prior to losing his battle with brain cancer in 2015.

Although his staff has a dedication plaque in his honor on campus, a recommendation was made to furnish a Buddy Bench to keep his memory alive. The bench will serve many purposes to the social emotional learning tenets of the school, as well as serve as a perpetual reminder of his hard work and dedication for his students and the community.

Help us raise money to keep his memory alive and honor the work he started.
