Mr. SiFu Charles Lin

Many of you know Mr. Charles Lin as Sifu, Grandmaster, teacher, mentor, and friend.  He, along with his wife Synthia, built the Chinese Culture Center, which originally started as a martial arts school that became a gateway to share Chinese culture. More amazingly, he is responsible for creating and bringing together a very special community and what has become the CCC family.

What many people may not know is how hard his life was. From immigrating here all by himself, starting the school from essentially nothing, and his battle against brain cancer first in 2004 and then again in 2014. He fought silently and never complained of his hardships but supported many people with theirs. After his recurrence of brain cancer and other related complications, this led to many more difficulties, which the Lin family would not have overcome without the loving support of their friends and the CCC family.

Mr. Sifu Charles Lin unexpectedly passed away Sunday morning December 9th in his home with his family by his side. Because of the sudden passing of Mr. Charles Lin, the family kindly asks for your donations to go towards the funding of his memorial and funeral services.
