Support Children's Homelessness and Sex-Trafficking in India

My name is Ranjanna Mariia Hvenegaard, and my mission in life is to give back to the community and country where I was born in 1972. I hold immense gratitude and grace for my family in Denmark who adopted me, and for the orphans I spent 7 months with before my adoption. As a blessed and gifted adoptee, I now dedicate my life to helping thousands worldwide overcome obstacles, pain, and suffering to achieve their dream lives. I assist adoptees in discovering their identity, accepting themselves, and finding their inner self-worth.

In honor of my grandmother and parents, I have created the Hvenegaard Adoption Charity Corp. Their decision to adopt a child from India and my father's journey to India in the 1960s have deeply inspired me. The purpose of my charity is to support orphaned children in India who are homeless and parentless, and to protect them from the dangers of sex trafficking.

I collaborate with 2 different organizations in India. One is Aapne AAP Women’s Academy (AAWC) in India. Their vision is of a world where No girl or Woman is bought or sold, where each girl or woman can realize her full potential. Their mission is to end sex trafficking.

Increasing the choices before the weakest and most marginalized girls and women from red-light areas, including those trapped in intergenerational prostitution, and lower-caste communities. They offer them access to education, healthcare, livelihood skills, legal protection, citizenship documents, government subsidies and friendship circles.

The other non-profit organization is a friend of mine Ravi Prakash Mulupuri, who is running SHARE kids home which is a children's home and is founded by Thambi Mulupuri called Self Help and Rural Educational Society (SHARE). This small-scale orphanage currently hosts 30 children, 25 girls and 5 boys. Their age is nowadays between 5 and 21 years old.

Their Mission is to Educate, Empower and Enlight. And their Vision is that Every child deserves every opportunity. The child of today is the leader of tomorrow.
