Fired from Denny's for My Religion
Donation protected
Thank you for visiting my page. I am raising money for my sick daughter and my family during this very stressful time.
I used to work at a Denny’s restaurant until I was wrongfully terminated, and I’ve filed a charge of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission / Florida Commission on Human Relations. Since I was fired, it has been hard for me to find a job. Even with a college degree in international marketing and a job history that includes humanitarian work for The Out of Africa Children Foundation, I couldn’t find a job to support my family. My story is similar to many others out there who struggle with the job market, except for one small difference.
This is my daughter Syjhalyse:
Syjhalyse is two years old, and she’s been diagnosed with severe asthma and bronchitis. She requires 7 to 10 breathing treatments a day, and if she doesn’t get her treatments, she can’t breathe, and we have to get her to the ER. Her breathing machine plugs into our electricity, and after losing my job, it became hard to pay my electricity bill. When our electricity was turned off, I rushed my family to a homeless shelter, not knowing where else to go, to make sure we could have access to electricity for my daughter’s breathing machine. Thankfully we have generous people in our lives that have helped us so far, but we need your help.
Please, consider donating to help us pay our basic expenses and to help my daughter breathe easy.
Thank you again.
