Help Ashton Kick Cancer

Ashton is the son of Grace and Cody Johnson. He has a twin brother, Aiden. They are 3 1/2. He is my great-grandson. They live in Sparta, Mo.

Ashton had a tumor show up almost overnight in April. On April 23 he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. It is a fast growing and aggressive cancer. Fortunately all other scans have been clear for now.

To treat his cancer, Ashton’s little 3 1/2 year old body will have to undergo weekly chemo treatments and multiple blood draws a week to monitor his immunity. Most treatments are done at Springfield, Mo but some visits have to be made to St. Louis. More trips to St.Louis are in their future.

Obviously, Grace is unable to work at this time. The multiple trips and extra expenses have been quite substantial for this family but not as devastating as hearing the words that your child has cancer.
