Mr.Rogers Angels

Hello neighbors I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone could volunteer to a veteran who needs our help. Mr.Roger is 70, he built his home in Cherry log in the 80s and is living out his life there. An angel from the program "Always" had made a post about helping him get a good deep clean as a volunteer basis as he lives off a very small check and $50.00 food stamps. I went today to meet with this amazing man, (Literally looks like Santa) and I'm so heart broken that I'm not sure where to turn. His home does need a good cleaning which my team can handle. However he has some needs that are imperative to his survival and well being. I am making a list of the major issues and begging for anyone to help. He is the most gracious, kind elderly man I have met in a long time. He sat with me telling stories from the military to the loss of his daughter when she was 7. He doesn't have any family, only his 2 cats and could really use a reminder of how God can send people at the right time to show love. He fought for this country and now he needs us to fight for him. *His stove doesn't work (electric)

*His heating and air doesn't work, he says a leak made it stop running

*The basement has water on the floor, I can hear water running but didn't see it leaking

*He has 2 bathroom sinks that need repaired

*The shower head in his main shower was ripped out when he slipped

*He has an old refrigerator, hot tub in the bathroom, stove and a couple TV stands that need to be removed

This was the original post, to catch up from then to now the community has shown up and blow my mind. We are working hard to get the repairs done and relocating him so the mold exposure can be solved. Please help us by supporting and donating to Mr.Roger so we can pay if needed for any repairs plus give him a little cusion to live off of when this is over. Thank you all so much for everything.
