Fundraiser to bury Chika's mom, Mrs Agatha Ohaeri, in Nigera

With a heavy heart, I reach out to you today to ask for your support for my friend Chika Ohaeri during this incredibly difficult time.

Her mother, Agatha Ohaeri, arrived in Canada about a month ago for a visit. She suddenly passed away on August 9, 2024. This has been very devastating for the family, especially her husband who is in Nigeria.

Chika is now faced with the daunting task of arranging to bury her mother back home in Nigeria.

I am asking for financial assistance in order to honor her wish to be buried in Nigeria. It is a tradition in our culture for people from the Igbo tribe to be buried back home, and it would mean the world for us to be able to lay her to rest in a way she would want.

Your general contributions will go toward the cost to return her body back to Nigeria.
