Mrs. Catherine Rogers (Johnson) Home going fund

Hello family and friends, this is Jerome Rogers, son of Catherine Rogers.  I am seeking to raise money to complete the funding of the Funeral and Memorial for my Mom.  She was such a great lady who worked hard all her life caring for others in many ways, including nursing at St. Mary’s hospital for 22years.  She was also a home health aid and server at the local food kitchen that fed the needy and homeless.  
     About 1.5 years ago mom was diagnosed with lung cancer then 6 months ago with a brain tumor.  I spent all that time caring for her at home, not in a nursing home. 
     Unfortunately, she did not make much money but she and my dad (who’s been gone for 30yrs) raised 5 children of their own without help of any kind.  They also opened their doors to others who needed a place to stay from time to time. She then later helped to raise some grandchildren, cousins and some children not her own.  I now find that her meager savings are not enough to complete all the arrangements.  We are, in no way, trying to be extravagant, though her life tribute deserves that, but to have it done adequately and with the utmost dignity and respect.  Your help will be greatly appreciated and if you know me, I will handle things with honesty and sincerity.  You only need to ask, if you have questions.
