My name is Mrs Helen Afolabi, and I humbly write to solicit for your assistance concerning my health. On 16th October 2023, while returning from my daily hustle, in order to provide for my family, somewhere around the university of Abuja,I was ran down by a hit and run driver whom was driving on a wrong lane. The driver of the vehicle ran away without stopping. As a result of the fatal accident, one of my my legs was broken and luckily enough I was quickly rushed to Legend hospital in Gwagwalada after being rejected by the university of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

The hospital gave us a bill of 3.2 million naira for full medical treatment to bring back to health but due to financial constraints, my family and I could not raise such an amount of money hence, i couldn’t complete my treatment. After a year of being bed-ridden and praying for a miracle, still couldn’t come up with any finance. Due to my inability to raise money, the doctors said a fresh treatment would be needed which would include another sets of surgical operations to be made on the leg and I would need to make a new payment of 4.5 million Naira (Nigerian currency)
