Please help us raise funds to support the family of our mother, grandmother, daughter, wife, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. Mrs Julie Masinja Edward died on 4th May 2020 after contracting COVID-19 while working as an NHS nurse at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, United Kingdom.
Mrs Julie Masinja Edward was a kind, strong, loving and well-respected person, both in her community and by her peers. She was the pillar of her family and will be greatly missed.
Professionally, she was a very dedicated NHS nurse. She had great attention to detail and was very thorough in her work. She will be greatly missed by her patients and colleagues.
This news has negatively affected her family, emotionally, psychologically and financially. As friends and family, we are saddened that our beloved has passed whilst putting her life selflessly on the line for others.
Our family will be in charge of the funds and we hope to bury her in the coming weeks.
The bulk of the donation will be used to support her very elderly mother, who was completely dependent on Mrs Edward for her livelihood. The rest will be used organise her memorial for the rest of the family in Zambia.
