Mrs. Stella Hernandez's Cancer Funds

Hello,

We need support from the community to help Mrs. Hernandez battle duodenal cancer. Mrs. Hernandez was told of her diagnosis in late November. Her treatment was delayed while Mrs. Hernandez looked for insurance coverage after being denied assistance from local hospitals and social services.

Stella has been a dedicated paraprofessional at Royal Junior High for 12 years. Over the years Mrs. Hernandez has positively impacted the staff and students in the Brookshire Community.

Mrs. Hernandez would benefit from funds to help with her marketplace insurance payments as well as her out-of-pocket expenses. The hospital has already required a little over $1,000 to begin treating her cancer after a 6-week delay from diagnosis.

During her journey, Mrs. Hernandez will continue to work as much as she can tolerate. Her ability to work was her main concern so that she could continue to help the students and staff at Royal Junior High.

Any assistance to help Mrs. Hernandez would be greatly appreciated. The funds would go directly to assist her with medical expenses and payments for insurance.
