Support for Mrs Jenny

We all know the famous Mrs. Jenny and her amazing Donut Palace! She's been a blessing to the Rockwall/Rowlett community for 26 years. She has a way of making you and your family feel like the most important people on the planet, as if you're the only family supporting her donut shop. It's truly a gift she has. She has never asked anything of anyone and does not want to burden customers with her own issues, but the people who love her are doing it anyway! Mrs. Jenny received unexpected news a few months back from an oncologist. She has breast cancer and needs to have a double mastectomy. My initial thoughts were, "How did we not know about this sooner? How does she continue to smile when we walk in, even though the ground is shaking around her?" That is who she is. She wouldn't tell anyone her personal struggles because she doesn't want them to worry or be sad. She said she hasn't mentioned it because, "there's always kids here and they deserve to see my happy face." This woman is incredible. Here is your chance to help her. She will need time to heal after surgery which is scheduled on November 30th. She insists on working until the day before her surgery and wants to return as soon as she can. Tears streamed down her face as she told me, "I'll miss the kids, all my kids at Christmas," and pointed to her wall of 10000000 pictures of smiling families who adore her. We don't want her to rush back to work to make ends meet. She deserves to rest easy! Even a small donation will help her tremendously! Finally, we can do something for Mrs. Jenny other than buying a kolache and donut holes. Which please continue to do until she closes for a bit. Let's show her how much of a blessing she is to us and our community. PLEASE be praying for Mrs Jenny and her two kids and husband of 32 years.
