MRT - RDA National Championship

‘We are a group of parents of young riders at Muirfield Riding Therapy (MRT), a member group of RDA. We are raising funds to enable our children to participate in RDA competitive equine sporting events.’

Our children are Eilidh, Anya, Fletcher, Cameron, Elliot and Maria. They are participants at Muirfield Riding Therapy, based in Gullane, East Lothian, and have their sights set on reaching the Riding for the Disabled National Championships again this summer.

Our kids are competing in various levels of dressage, horse care and countryside challenge and we need your help to raise the funds to allow them to compete - we need to raise £12,000 - can you help?

Our coach Caroline says: “I have had the pleasure of supporting this fabulous group of young people achieve their riding goals over the last six years! They are passionate, hardworking and committed to supporting MRT and each other and keen to help them get to the next level in their competitive journey!

Their parents need the support of the local community to raise the funds to enable their 6 children to reach the RDA regional qualifiers in May with the hope of qualification to the National Championships in Hartpury in July!.

Michelle, a parent of one of our riders, says: “Eilidh is absolutely delighted to be heading to Nationals and importantly representing the team at MRT. Riding is a big part of her life and the confidence and joy it gives her is testament to all the hard work and support that Caroline and the team give her week in week out.”
