Ms. Betty Dooley

Hi, My name is Brittany Dooley. My mothers name is Betty Dooley. My mom is 63 years old. She was born November 29, 1958. She has raised my 3 younger siblings and I on her own for many years. She worked for Detroit Public schools teaching head start and has had a hand in the teaching of many little ones since her retirement in 2014.

 

She was diagnosed with vascular dementia on the brink of the Pandemic. Covid kept my mom in seclusion long enough that dementia set in at a very rapid pace and complicated everything she has gone through. Within a year and a half, the dementia entered its final stages. Besides Covid, my siblings and I allowed denial and procrastination to keep us from properly assuring my moms affairs were in order. None of us ever thought this would be happening the way it is, and definitely not as fast, but we could really use as much help as possible. After some digging, we found my mother’s life insurance policy has been lapsed for years now. We need help making sure her homegoing is a celebration of her life and her legacy, the way she deserves.

 

I really can’t even believe I’m typing any of these words but since I am I need anyone who doesn’t know to know that my mother deserves so much more then what she got out of this world. Help us ensure she heads into the afterlife knowing she was loved and appreciated. Thank you.
