Hi, my name is Rob Adams. I am the General Manager of the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center. On behalf of our hotel staff, I am asking you to help us give something to someone who has given so much to the world. We affectionally refer to this special person as our Ms. Deborah. Ms. Deborah has been a dedicated Associate of the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center for nearly 41 years. For her entire career, she has been working at the same hotel, in the same kitchen taking care of others with a heartwarming smile on her face no matter how tough the day had been.
On August 1, 2021, Ms. Deborah lost her 29-year-old son, Mr. Montrez Porter. During this devastating time in her life, Ms. Deborah only took a week off from work, but for her that was a lot. When she returned to work, she tried her hardest to keep that smile on her face but we all could see how difficult it was for her to keep smiling behind her unspeakable pain and grief. Fortunately, she has now agreed to take some more time off from work to focus on healing from the loss of her beloved son.
We want to help Ms. Deborah and her family ease their financial burden so that they can concentrate on healing and comforting one another without focusing on their expenses or other financial obligations associated with the services. We take great pride in pulling together to help Ms. Deborah take care of herself and to be there for her family as she has been there for her hotel guests, fellow Associates, and families for more than four decades.
From the entire team of the hotel, thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
