2024 FUNd RUN - Ms. Dustin's Class
Tax deductible
Hello Charter Oak Families and Friends!
Thank you for supporting our school community! Donations to our 2024 FUNd RUN allow our Charter Oak PTO to host events (like the Fall Picnic and Cultural Day), maintain our Schoolyard Habitats, contribute to 5th-grade end-of-the-year activities, and support our faculty when they need it most - like snacks and a coffee cart at Conference Week- and so much more!
The Charter Oak PTO's mission is about making connections. The FUN-d RUN 2024 is our main Fundraiser of the year. Our budget is not very big compared to most schools of our size, and everything goes back to our school community.
**FUNd RUN ALL-SCHOOL GOAL = $16,000**
What happens if we beat our goal? As soon as we've covered our current budget expenses, we can put money towards the Teacher Grant Fund, which helps our teachers provide extra learning materials for our children. Let's bring it back!!
FUNd RUN DETAILS:
• What is it? The FUNd RUN is an inclusive, energizing and FUN event that is back for its 5th year! All students enjoy a fun outdoor activity while bonding with classmates!

• What about prizes? In addition to our school-wide goal, each classroom can earn prizes based on their # of laps, # of donations and total donation dollars. Prizes like Extra Recess, PJ Day, Movie Day with popcorn, Special visits with Principal Rivera and much more.
• What if we reach the ALL-SCHOOL GOAL? If we reach our school-wide goal of $16,000 students will enjoy creating a mural outside the main entrance working with a local artist as well as upgrades to our playground to include “Lunchbox Lane” for storing lunches while at recess.
• Community Give-Back. Last but not least, our first lap will be in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to support their local cause. A donation will be made on behalf of all students at Charter Oak!
Make a flat rate donation to your child’s classroom TODAY and please share with family and friends! And don’t forget to check your employer’s matching gift program!
*Note: GoFundMe charges a transaction fee of 2.2% plus $0.30 per donation, which will reduce those donations accordingly.
