Ms. Kendall’s Freshman Success Classroom

Hi All!

School is back in session and I couldn’t be more excited to start the year. I am in a new classroom this year and will once again be teaching 12th grade United States Government as well as a new class, 9th grade Freshman Success, that focuses on social emotional learning and personal development for our new high school freshmen. A big focus of our curriculum in this class is to get these students involved on campus, help them find purpose, provide insight on college and career skills and much more. It is a goal of mine to set them up for success both in and out of the classroom.

Majority of my new freshmen are at risk students who cannot afford their own supplies that are essential for class (binders, college rules notebooks, dividers, etc).

I am hoping to raise some funds to help me gather supplies for my new classroom as well as purchase these essential items and more for my new kiddos!
