Contribute to help Ms. Payne move back home

UPDATE: As of about 10 days ago--a few days before the Superbowl, about 8 months after the fire--Ms. Payne is back in her home, thanks, in part, to generous GoFundMe contributions. Thanks to all, and to Lawrence, whose crew put in so much work.

I'm Chris Fryer, a neighbor of Ms. Alberta Payne, and I and a few other neighbors set up this page so that Ms. Payne's friends and neighbors can contribute to help her move back home after her house was damaged by an electrical fire on June 4. Thankfully, no one was injured, and she is staying with family until the house can be reoccupied. While insurance should cover some of the cost of cleaning and repairs, insurance proceeds are never enough, and don't compensate for the heartache of losing your home. This GoFundMe page is for convenience in contributing to help her replace clothing and furnishings that were lost in the fire, and to express our sympathy for the loss and our hope that she can move back soon.
