Hi everyone! We are raising money for Ms. Portia; a beloved member of the Smyrna community. If you know her, you know she brings joy to everyone she meets.
She is the sole provider for herself and her mother. However, over the past year she has been faced with health challenges that have impacted her ability to work. On March 17th, she had a horrible accident which sliced the tendons, arteries, and nerve endings in her arm. Vanderbilt was able to save her artery and her tendons, but it’s going to be a long road of recovery. Extensive physical therapy will be needed. In the meantime, bills are already starting to pile up.
We are asking for any support to help ease her financial tension during these difficult times. She’s been such a bright light for so many of us. We would love to shine that light back on her.
