Ms. Sandra and her family

Ms. Sandra Spears is a beloved member of our Lighthouse family, known for her cheerful personality and helpful nature. Her work with children, and her passion for her job, have touched the lives of many families in our community. Unfortunately, Ms. Sandra has been battling pneumonia, and her condition has worsened to a critical stage, and she is now in the ICU.

Her two adult children are devastated by Ms. Sandra’s struggle to survive. They have been by her side throughout her illness, but they are now facing a difficult financial situation, as medical costs have been enormous.

We are starting a GoFundMe campaign to support Ms. Sandra’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help to ease the financial burden on this family as they face her unimaginable fight for life. As of 3-30-23 her account has been transferred over to me (Andrea) so that I can continue to add updates and pictures. 

I’d like to inform everyone that she had pneumonia and an infection in her body that was severe that caused her to have a stroke and then go into cardiac arrest. It wasn’t just pneumonia.
