Mason Hedgecock Funeral Expenses

On Monday, August 26, 2024, Mason’s mom, Carmen, received the call no mother wants to receive. Mason had passed suddenly and unexpectedly. This was a little more than 24 hours after her husband, Eddie, was rushed to the hospital for having a stroke.

Mason was an amazing, goofy, funny, and outgoing person. My family and I have had the privilege of watching Mason grow from the little boy he once was, pestering his sisters, into the man he had become. (Still pestering his sisters ☺️)

From Bible study, backyard parties, pestering his sisters, and everything in between, Mason loved to hunt and fish, and then there was that one dress modeling incident. (We will save that story for another day )

Mason’s untimely departure from our lives leaves a hole that can never be filled. Laying a loved one to rest is never easy, and the unfortunate financial burden it causes only makes it worse.

So I have created this GoFundMe to try and help cover funeral expenses for Mason so his mom, Carmen, and their family can focus on remembering him and so that we all can lay him to rest with the peace and dignity that he deserves to be reunited with his loved ones in heaven.

The family has asked for privacy at this time but welcomes your love and prayers.

Once final arrangements have been made, I will post the information here so everyone who knew and loved Mason can pay their respects.

We are also doing a meal train of sorts and taking separate donations for gift cards for restaurants/fast food to help alleviate some stressors for Carmen since she is still bedside with Eddie at the hospital.
