Help Mahmoud & his family in Gaza

My name is Mahmoud, a young man from Gaza. I write to you today with the hope that my words will touch your hearts.

My life was normal, filled with dreams and ambitions, like any other young person. But everything changed in one unforgettable night. The war was mercilessly striking our city, and the sound of explosions shook the ground beneath us. In one horrifying moment, a shell hit our home, turning it from a place of love and safety into a pile of rubble.

I came out from under the debris, injured and barely able to breathe. I suffered severe wounds to my leg and back, and these injuries have left me unable to move properly. The physical pain was immense, but the emotional pain was far greater. Losing your dreams and becoming homeless in an instant is an indescribable feeling.

Since then, my family and I have been living in extremely harsh conditions. We lack enough food or clean water. Even the basics of life have become out of reach. Hunger is our constant companion, and thirst only deepens our suffering.

But my biggest challenge is seeking treatment. My injuries require surgeries and ongoing care, but I cannot afford the medical expenses. Each passing day makes my condition worse, and I fear losing hope of ever recovering and returning to a normal life.

I write to you now, putting my heart in your hands. Any help, no matter how small, could make a significant difference in my life. It could be the reason I regain my health, feed my family, or start anew.
