Urgent - Help Zaina and her parents escape Gaza genocide

My name is Ahmed Aldaoor, I write to you with a heavy heart filled with hope and desperation. I am a resident of Gaza, and as you are aware, my city has endured extremely difficult times due to the ongoing war. The destruction inflicted upon our homes and lives has been devastating, and the need to escape this hellish situation is urgent.

I live with my family: my wife, Shahd, is an English teacher, and my daughter, Zaina, is in her first year. We are in desperate need of leaving and seeking safety elsewhere. Unfortunately, the coordination fees through the Rafah border crossing amount to $5,000 per person, which is a significant sum for us. We are striving to find a way out of this dire situation and start a new life.

I was working as a singer and music teacher, and the war caused me to lose my only source of income. Even if the war ends, it will take a long time for art to be a source of income again. My wife also lost her job as a teacher due to the war, and now we as a family do not have any source of income, and you know how painful it is for us as parents to feel unable to meet our daughter’s needs, especially after the high cost of living during wartime.

I humbly request that you consider assisting us. Any small amount can make a significant impact on our lives. We understand that the world is full of challenges, but we hope that you have the capacity to help us during this difficult moment.

أنا أعيش مع عائلتي: زوجتي شهد معلمة لغة انجليزية، و ابنتي زينة في السنة الأولى من عمرها. نحن بحاجة ماسة للمغادرة والبحث عن مكان آمن. للأسف، تكلفة التنسيق عبر معبر رفح تبلغ ٥ آلاف دولار للشخص الواحد

كنت أعمل كمطرب و مدرس موسيقى، وكانت الحرب سببًا في فقدان مصدر دخلي الوحيد. حتى لو انتهت الحرب، سيستغرق وقتًا طويلاً حتى يعود الفن إلى أن يكون مصدرًا للدخل مرة أخرى. زوجتي أيضاً فقدت عملها كمعلمة بسبب الحرب و نحن الآن كعائلة لا نملك أي مصدر دخل، و أنتم تعلمون كم هو مؤلم لنا كوالدين شعور العجز عن تلبية احتياجات ابنتنا خاصة بعد غلاء المعيشة وقت الحرب.

أنا أطلب منكم أن تفكروا في مساعدتنا. أي مبلغ صغير يمكن أن يكون له تأثير كبير على حياتنا. نحن نعلم أن العالم مليء بالتحديات، ولكن نأمل أن يكون لديكم القدرة على مساعدتنا في هذه اللحظة الصعبة.
