Massive Bronycon Balloon Build!

Hello everyone, my name is Bruce Carr aka No Ordinary Balloon Man and I am a professional balloon artist and entertainer currently living in Clermont, FL.  As a fan of My Little Pony (a brony) I wish to give back to the brony community which has inspired me and has helped me become a full-time entertainer by going to Bronycon and making a massive balloon creation to entertain attendees at the largest My Little Pony convention in the world. I will be creating one of three creations! 

1.       A 50-60 ft Party Favor creating a balloon bridge which will also be an interactive creation for attendees. The interactive section, entitled “Party Favor’s Bouncing Balloon Bridge” will feature balloon ponies on poles being used to “bounce” on the bridge suspended 4 feet above the ground, via weighted balloon stands, will also include a free photo op. I would also be cosplayed as Party Favor, the balloon art pony.(30 ft. Scaled Down option also availble) 

2.      A to-scale “Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000” (30 ft) balloon complete with 3 feet Flim and Flam, another great photo op. I would cosplay as Flam of the Flim Flam Brothers as well.

3.       8-9ft tall, 12 feet long Lord Tirek cosplay out of balloons, to interact with and entertain convention attendees.

I will be using the money to create one of these creations depending on the venue space, regulations of Bronycon and funds I recieve for balloons, duct tape, balloon bond and weighted balloon stands. I will also be using the money, espeically if I exceed my desired donations, to assist with transportation/lodging for the con.  I would need to have the funds raised for this by June 15th 2016. Along with creating one of these creations for the convention, I will also be making a balloon to advertise the Michael Morones Foundation, http://www.michaelmorones.org/ who will be in attendance. They will  be raising money to help Michael Morones make a full recovery from the hospital after being a victim of bullying. I will be making the Balloon creation for them at no cost.

My Little Pony is why I have a better relationship with my eight year old sister and its also one of the reasons why I met my fiancee Jasmin Evans, who is also a pegasister (lady brony). I have developed a true kinship with the fandom and key people in the fandom have not only become true friends of mine, but have helped me grow professionally. They have helped me get much of the training needed to become a professional balloon artist and use my Theatre Degree, despite having Asperger Syndrome. My brony friends even encouraged me to speak at conferences helping other with Aspergers and other Autism spectrum disorders. My balloons have been featured on a multitude of sites including Cartoon Network, Equestria Daily and Know Your Meme.  I have also been made into a guest of many conventions, including brony conventions such as the Grand Brony Gala and Super Speedy Cider Con. I wish to make these balloons and not charge Bronycon for any of it to make sure that I give back to the community which has become such a vital part of my life.

I would be exceedinly thankful for any fund given to help me create these. It would give me the chance to not only meet so many wonderful bronies in the community but to fully entertain all of the people who have inspired me these past year. It would also give me the chance to talk with other people who may have Asperger Syndrome and encourage them to improve there talents so they too can achieve their dreams, despite what others may tell them.
