Ms MotherHood is a vision created from the heart and soul of a mother, grandmother, and daughter who has been a victim of abuse; in all forms, and homelessness.
The founder, Dalphene Bason has struggled with all the above and would like to share her knowledge of how to survive when faced with a situation of physical abuse, mental abuse, homelessness, and the trials of MOTHERHOOD.
Ms Mother Hood is a program designed to help mothers and teens face the daily struggles of life.
Dalphene wants to make her vision a reality, but she needs assistance from all who are interested in enhancing the lives of young mothers, children, the homeless and the betterment of residents of Lorain County.
Her goal is to occupy a building equipped with tools to support her mission. Ms. Motherhood needs communal support to make this happen. Dalphene estimates that 1st annual expenses to be $50,000 to include rent, utilities, desks, computers, software, kitchen items, toys, food and more.
Going forward funding will be achieved via grants, donations and fund raising events. Ms. MotherHood will hosts the following programs:
