Help support Chance Larkin during his Ski Accident Recovery!
Chance has had a major accident while skiing Park City Resort, suffering a severe Spine and Pelvic injuries. On Feb 13th, 2015 he was taken by ambulance to the University of Utah Trauma Center where he underwent surgery. After several days recovering in the hospital, Chance is learning to walk again with the help of a walker and assistance. Chance's mobility is limited, he is unable to bend, twist or lift. He will be using a walker for a minimum of 8 weeks to make sure he heels correctly.
Chance will need constant help from his family and friends. Chance is a strong determined young man but with the degree of the fractures it will take several months for Chance to be heeled and be able to live on his own again.
Chance was raised in the Wood River Valley, enjoying the outdoors, skateboarding, wakeboarding, playing football at Wood River High School, with winter being his favorite time of year Chance took advantage of skiing whenever and wherever he could. Chance loves to ski the Terrain parks and Urban when he can. He decided to follow his heart and move to Salt Lake City so he could go to school and ski. Chance is attending College at Salt Lake Community College Majoring in Marketing.
Due to the injury Chance will be recovering at home in Hailey Idaho, with the help and love and support of his family.
