Mt Vernon High School Cheer get to Nationals

My name is Mekiyah Knox Head Coach of the Mount Vernon High School Cheerleading team.

On December 11th, 2022 for the first time in MVHS cheer history my Junior Varsity and Varsity cheerleading teams has qualified to compete in one of the Largest cheerleading competitions in the country: The UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!

All of our cheerleaders have honored their role as student athletes by passing all classes. More than 20 of them are scholar students.

In order to get to Nationals, we need your help!

Our students need your support to make this opportunity become a reality! Not only will the team experience the NHSCC but it will give them an opportunity to travel and expand their

Our students have experienced an extreme loss of their cheer sister on April 8th, 2022 but they have managed to come back this season stronger than ever to accomplish their goal of winning bids to the NHSCC this year. We need your support to continue that journey! Please support us with a donation to pay for travel expenses, lodging fees, accommodations, registrations, uniform items and meals.
