Daniel Cartica, a Captain in the Marine Corps, will be running in the World Marathon Challenge, 7 Marathons on 7 Continents in 7 Days, from Jan 26-Feb 2, 2016 (www.worldmarathonchallenge.com).
He is doing this event to remember the 5 servicemen that were killed on the July 16, 2015 shooting in Chattanooga, TN. Dan wants to assist in carrying out the legacy of these brave warriors and hopes to inspire others to continually show support for all those serving in the Armed Forces.
Dan is seeking to raise about $25,000 to off-set the cost of participating in this endurance challenge. Anything raised in excess of that amount will be donated to a charity in support of the families of these servicemen.
