The Wind Project

Hi, my name is Zoe and I'm fundraising for The Wind Project.

We all live close to the coast and yet 35% of local young people have never been to a beach or swam in the sea.

Did you know? We provide FREE SAILING COURSES for hundreds of local school children and adults with disabilities, all on the Kingsbridge & Salcombe Estuary.

Children can gain a wider range of benefits from participating in the sport of Sailing, encompassing physical, mental, and social aspects. Overall, Sailing offers a holistic development experience for children, nurturing both their physical abilities and personal growth.

Funds raised will enable us to continue to offer these courses, as for many this experience would never be possible.

We're a small Charity based in Salcombe trying to make a big difference. One tack at a time!
