Mental Health Awareness Week
The Lighthouse charity provides emotional, physical and financial support to construction workers and their families. Russells teamed up with the Lighthouse charity so that our employees could access both their helplines and mobile app.
The charity receives no public funding and relies on the generosity of those within the industry to help them continue their vital work.
To help the charity continue their great work, we will be hosting various fundraising events throughout Mental Health Awareness Week to say thank you for the support they have provided our employees.
The fundraising events will take place from 9th - 13th May.
At two of our sites, there will be a cake sale from Monday to Friday.
On Tuesday at 10am there will be 'It's good to talk' coffee morning, where our employees will be encouraged to talk about anything other than work.
At our head office, Wednesday to Friday, there will be a breakfast club, and finally, to close the week, there will be a dress down day for a £2 contribution.
We hope to raise plenty of money to thank The Lighthouse charity for their continued and invaluable support.
Thank you in advance for your donations, and if you would like to know more about the charity or access their support, please see the below link.
