Urgent aid to rescue a family in the North of Gaza

Hi, my name is Alaa Alhayek, I’m fundraising for my cousin Marah Mohammad’s family.

Marah and her family are still in Northern Gaza, under bombardment, famine and repeated displacement.

They were displaced in the second week of this war, when their home was destroyed. They went to her uncle’s house, but this was also bombed by the occupation forces. They were almost lost under the rubble, but miraculously they escaped death when the civil defense pulled her and her family out - 25 people including 4 children - from the burning building.

However, there wasn’t anything to take with them, and they are without spare clothes, money and food. Their house has been partially destroyed, and both her and her father’s workplace are gone - there’s no source of income left.

They are still suffering from repeated displacement inside North Gaza. They are suffering from the scarcity of food and clean water, increasing spread of disease, and lack of medicines.

Marah’s father is 64 years old and has diabetes, her mother is 50 and suffers with heart disease and weak immunity - they can’t get the medicines they need.

Every day they are exposed to bombing and sieges from the occupying forces, and every day they search for food but there’s nothing, and this is what made her ask for help in getting out and away from this death.

They don’t have the amount required to leave Gaza - the price of coordination through the Rafah crossing is $5,000 for adults and $2,500 for under 16 year olds. They have spent everything they have just staying alive.
