Cash Strong

As most of you know my sweet, hardworking husband was recently diagnosed with a rare disease known as “Moyamoya”. In Japanese the word “Moyamoya” means “a puff of smoke”. Basically the arteries that supply blood to his brain are not wide enough to supply the efficient amount of blood needed for the brain to function the way it’s meant to. Which has caused him to have multiple strokes and countless TIA’s. Yesterday he had an angiogram to see how bad his arteries were. The news we received was not what we hoped and prayed for. The left side is completely closed. No blood is able to pass through, so this is causing the arteries in the back of his head to work harder than they are supposed to. The right side is also now in the beginning stages of Moyamoya. The doctor has recommended for him to have brain surgery on both sides of his brain, left side first, then right side a few months later.

Aaron has worked his whole life. Never missed work unless he had no other option. Even after his first big stroke he was back to work within a week because he knew he had to provide for our family. Today the doctor told us, he likely will never be able to go back to work. Filing disability is on our list of to dos, but that can take months to years. Without his income we have accepted the fact that we will likely lose most of the things we have worked so hard for together over the last seven years. Without his income we will no longer be able to afford the things we did. I am the only one working, and my income in significantly less than what he was bringing home.

The medical bills are also starting to add up. Right now we owe a little of $2000.

Aaron and I HATE to ask anyone for help. Unfortunately, we are now at the point where we need help. I’m doing all I can to pay the bills, but we are now falling short. We don’t know how we will make it through this, but we do know with Gods grace and your prayers we will be okay. We have each other, and we have 4 amazing kiddos we will never stop fighting for.

We understand times are hard for most people right now, even before this we had started to struggle. We’re not asking anyone to put themselves in a bind to help us. We’re simply asking if you can, we would more than appreciate it.

Also. Please keep praying, this is by far the scariest and most heart wrenching thing we’ve ever been through. With yalls prayers we know God is going to be our way maker. With him, all

things are possible.
