Boston Marathon: Desire to Inspire

I am beyond excited to be running the Boston Marathon this coming spring to raise money for my school's Desire to Inspire foundation.  The foundation supports the development of curriculum and activities that tie the spirit of the marathon to the educational experiences of students. The 21st century curriculum created by a group of amazing educators at our school has been made public for anyone who wants to use it and can be found at: (https://sites.google.com/a/hopkinton.k12.ma.us/desire-to-inspire/home) In addition to the curriculum, there are photos and articles about the foundation and its past events. 

All the money that is raised will go directly to the foundation to continue developing  curriculum and experiences that benefit our students. In the past it has funded student speakers such as Congressman Joe Kennedy, Meb Kefleighi, and the inspirational duo of Rick and Dick Hoyt.  Hearing their stories inspires our students to think of what is possible in their own lives, through service and perseverance. 

As an educator in Hopkinton for the past 15 years, I have seen the excitement surrounding the marathon in my students and I can't wait to be a part of that experience.  Thanks so much in advance for considering donating to my cause!
