BRING HAMMY HOME

We are coming together to support a beloved member of our community, Hammy the pot belly pig, who has been a cherished member of our village of Lyndhurst for over ten years with his owner Greg Rajewski.

For some reason the township has decided after 10 years that Hammy is not allowed to be with Greg anymore, they have also started to issue tickets to Greg for everything else “wrong” on his property, including cars, boats, etc. Greg has been doing as they ask by cleaning up his yard and getting rid of his belongings just so he can get Hammy back. These fines are now up to $6K and there is still no sign of Greg being able to have possession of Hammy any time soon.

Hammy has touched the lives of many of us in our tight knit community and his abrupt removal from his home has been hard on everyone in Lyndhurst.

Hammy is more than just a pet; he is a well-behaved and trained companion who has his Emotional Support Animal certificate registered to his owner Greg Rajewski.

His presence has been a source of comfort and happiness for many residents and not only that, Hammy has played a valuable role by helping manage local critters through his consumption of compost, contributing to the cleanliness and well-being of our village.

This GoFundMe is to help Greg with legal bills, fines, and anything else the townships asks of him so we can get Hammy back.
