Much Needed help for Medical and Living Expenses.

My wife and I have had a rough year so far. Started back in March when my wife asked her work if she could go to Colorado to assist with her father who had fallen and hurt himself. She was granted time to go and was told by her work they would handle the paperwork. Once she got to Colorado her work reached out and said she qualified for nothing and had 3 days to get back. That was not an option due to her father being in the hospital and her mother not in good health either. She ended up being let go by her employer. Shortly after getting there my wife had to take her mom to the hospital and was going back and forth between two hospitals trying to support both parents. She started helping get their house packed and straightened out to put up for sale and finding an assisted living facility for her parents. In late April I was offered a position within a new company I accepted and put in 2 weeks' notice at the current company I was working at. Before I started, I went to Colorado to help move my Wife's parent's belongings into assisted living and tow back stuff my wife wanted back here to NY. Before leaving Colorado, I became sick. Luckily my wife was able to secure a job at a previous company she worked for before we left. This is where things got worse. We get back to NY I could not start new job due to being ill with medical issues. The company I was supposed to start at pulled their offer to hire me. Since May 11th I have been sick, tried to work but just couldn't do to my health issues. Had multiple CT scans and other tests done. At the suggestion of my doctors, I was told to apply for SSDI. The process is and has been no fun and still waiting on approval. In the meantime, I have been going to multiple specialists. With surgeries eminent, waiting on SSDI's decision, and no end in sight we have run out of options. Since March we've lost 3/4s of our income. Have got behind on every single bill we have, and medical expenses keep coming in. I realize this is a long-winded letter, but this year is tougher than the year I had a kidney transplant 5 years ago. We are hoping SSDI comes back in our favor and my health situation gets better. It's been 6 months since I got sick and 4 months since I applied for SSDI. If you could find in your hearts to help us, I would be very grateful. Money would go to helping with living and medical bills. Being Immune compromised due to my kidney transplant 5 years ago isn't helping matters.
