Mudeford Wood Playgroup
Just like all pre-schools, the one Edwin goes to has had to close other than for the children of key workers.
Edwin loves pre-school and loves all of his Aunties there too. He misses them and today he cried because he misses his friends so much! We had a chat with Edwin and have decided to set up this page on his behalf, here is why...
MWPG is a charity run playgroup, usually when they are fully open they do lovely number tables where you buy a number and may win a prize, they also do little cake sales to raise money to buy equipment and learning resources for the children but with the current pandemic they are obviously unable to do this.
We as a family love to bake and sometimes take cakes into playgroup as do other children and they get sold at the end of the day. Edwin misses seeing the cakes being sold and of course buying them too! So we’ve decided that instead of baking and selling cakes we would try and raise some money to help out the fantastic playgroup that is Mudeford Wood and all of the amazing staff who nurture and care for so many children.
Edwin would love to raise £500 to put back in after they’re going to loose so much. I’m aware that everyone isn’t in the position to donate so if you can’t, please share as there may be someone else who see’s this and can!
Thank you so much, Love, Edwin, James & Maisy.
