Hello my name is Rachael, I had a heroic grandfather who fought a courageous 5 year battle with stage 4 colon cancer. At 80 years old he lost that 5 year battle sadly at the end of June. He was only given 6 months upon diagnosis so we are very grateful for the 4 and 1/2 years beyond that, that we got. However his battle took a toll far greater than just emotional. In helping him fight my family struggled financially as well the home that my 3 year old daughter and I live with my mother is currently in foreclosure with a sale date in November. My mother helping my grandfather battle with insurance companies and manufacturers to get him his treatments he couldn't afford, staying by his bed side when he was in the hospital, called and spoke with Dr's and lost some good job opportunities from it. She is currently working again but the mortgage company is requiring the full delinquent amount and won't work with us. If you can help in any way or know some one who can please donate / share. I hate to ask for help but we've already exhausted all other avenues. My grandfather was a hard working man but was self employed the majority of his life and left no life insurance.
