Help a teacher in need

Donation protected
This fundraiser is to help Marisa Fulmer, an Elizabethtown Area School District teacher, in her time of need. Early in the morning on July 5, the Fulmer family was awoken as their ceiling fell on them. Marisa and Chad grabbed their daughter, Hailey, and ran outside to see their home destroyed.

The Fulmers lived next door to the Rapho Township building that exploded Wednesday morning. The impact of the explosion hit their home, causing the ceiling to fall, the foundation to shift, and the walls to crumble. Thankfully, Marisa, Chad, and their 20-month-old daughter, Hailey, are unharmed, but their house is destroyed along with many of their belongings. They literally left the house with nothing but the clothes on their backs and cars that are damaged but drivable. They are currently staying with family and are working with insurance for the house. Some of their belongings may be able to be salvaged from the house after a thorough inspection and cleaning by a restoration company, but they won’t know what they have for some time. In the meantime, we are trying to assemble ways to help them rebuild their lives and reduce the stress of this event on their lives. Anything you can give to this beautiful family would be so appreciated. Thank you for considering.
