Hello, my name is Suzie Harlow, Sandra is my sister in Christ, a friend, and a former co-worker. She is a lady that I admire a lot due to her love for Jesus our Savior and her unshakable faith. We have bonded in such a fantastic way. I first met Sandra Gbeblewou in 2017 when I began working at Malcolm Cole Child Care Center. I really got to know her when I joined her in the Kindergarten Prep program. Sandra has been a mentor to me not only as a fellow teacher but also as a woman of faith. She has been the most genuine, understanding, and trustworthy friend to not only me but also everyone she meets. Sandra’s unwavering faith is inspirational, and I hope that by sharing her story, she will be able to help others. In August 2020, Sandra was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. For over a year beforehand she felt ill and her doctors were unable to pinpoint a cause. Eventually, they found a lump in her breast and diagnosed her with stage 2 Breast Cancer. She fought it using holistic medicine and her faith, and after a year of treatment, she was in remission. In May 2022, Sandra's doctor found another lump in a different location, and she was re-diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer. Out of necessity, Sandra is choosing to fight using a combination of Conventional therapy and Integrated Medicine. While remaining strong in her faith, Sandra is seeking additional support to help her through this second round. The financial burden has taken an emotional and physical toll on her family and life. Sandra has exhausted all financial sources, including her savings and early withdrawal of her retirement. I am hoping that by setting up this GoFundMe account, we can help alleviate some of the stresses that come along with any cancer battle. If you are unable to donate at this time, all prayers to our Heavenly Father are very appreciated. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16 Sandra would appreciate it if we could keep this link only to the invited participants. Thank you for your so understanding.
