Muggsy's Emergency Abdominal Surgery

Hi, my name is Shelby, and I'm raising money for my dog sitter-turned-friend, Kelly, and her sweet pup, Muggsy, who ate 4 nails on Sunday night requiring emergency abdominal surgery costing upwards of 4k. I am asking for your help to give back to a fellow dog mom, rescue advocate, and the world's best pet sitter this holiday season.

Muggsy has a special place in my heart because I rescued him back in April of this year. He was a 4-6 month-old puppy in rough shape and it was obvious that he had been living on the streets of Tuscon, AZ.

My dog-loving heart chased him down in my car and scooped him up. I brought him back to Phoenix and my dog sitter who had been caring for my dogs while I was away fell in love with him. The rest was history.

Kelly is the sweetest human who has just as much of a heart for dogs as I do (and that's saying something!). She's a full-time pet sitter here in Phoenix and with the unexpected cost right around the holiday, I'd like to support her and Muggs because I can't think of anyone who deserves it more. She is having to take time off of work to care for Muggsy, and the cost of the surgery and overnight hospital stay was a lot to take on. We're hoping he gets to come home tonight, and then it will be an uphill battle the next week or so as she does all she can to avoid any sort of infection post-surgery.
