Muja Rupam Memorial Fund

Our brother Muja Islam Haleem Rupam left us on October 22, 2019, at the age of 45.  May God give his soul the tranquility and solemnness in his final resting place, Garden of Eden Islamic Cemetery.  He is survived by his wife, Heather Rupam; two sons, Zubin Haleem and Zohan Haleem; his parents and brother Paul; and numerous adoring friends.  You may have known Rupam from his many passions – photography, music, home improvement, and gardening, to name a few.  You would have never seen Rupam in any way but in a sunny disposition, and his larger-than-life laugh was always uplifting.  His sense of humor is simply unforgettable.  

As Dave Ramsey teaches, after a sad passing, if possible, a family should not have to make big financial decisions for at least 6 months. If this financial buffer can be provided, then Heather, Zubin, and Zohan can mourn and adjust to their new normal.  Friends of Rupam’s are seeking your assistance to help Heather and the family to meet their upcoming financial obligations.  Remember who Rupam was to you and all the joy and love that he added to your lives, and honor him by giving a generous monetary gift to his family, his living legacy.

There is an Islamic teaching which says ‘O My Angel be a witness. Whoever consoles this orphan and makes him happy, I will make him happy on the day of Judgement.’  We wish you and your family gratitude in advance for your thoughts and prayer for Rupam.
