Help Us Open Mukti Sanctuary: A Home for all.

A safe space for all human and non human animals.

Imagine a place where animals in need find safety, care, and love—a place where they can truly live free from harm. A place where humans in need can find a meal, a place to rest, a job, support. But to make this vision a reality, we need your support.

Set up by two passionate animal rescuers, Mukti Sanctuary currently exists as a temporary rehab and rescue, and we are rapidly running out of space. There is no longer room for all of the animals that need our help. But we cannot do this alone. We need the help and support of lovely, caring people. People like you.

Our initial goal is to raise $50,000 over the next six months. This will help to cover our down payment so we can secure a loan of approximately 200k+ euro and buy a farm for about 300k. All our time and resources go into helping others but we are running out of space and can no longer manage. We know it's a huge sum of money to ask for, but our savings have been used up, and it's the only way we can keep rescuing animals.

We will be looking for locations around the Greater Lisbon area in Portugal - such as Mafra, Torres Vedras, Loures etc ...

Your contribution will be vital for:

1. Securing Land: Acquiring a spacious piece of land is our first step towards building Mukti Sanctuary.

2. Creating Safe Spaces: After securing the land, we’ll start building and refurbishing structures to give our animals safe, comfortable homes and our visiting humans a place where they can come and be at peace.

3. Developing Wellness and Retreat Spaces: We envision Mukti as a sanctuary for both animals and humans, offering a peaceful retreat where visitors can engage in yoga support and wellness activities, fostering a deep, healing bond with all.
