Our Home's In Trouble

Marilynn is a widowed senior who has been a volunteer in her community for over 30 years. Now, she has exhausted all savings and faces losing her home of 49 years. Since the passing of her husband from Pancreatic Cancer, 27 years ago, she has worked, raised and supported her son, Matthew, who struggles with the debilitating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. She can no longer work; he has been denied Disability and neither qualify for assistance. She is struggling to keep up with her mortgage, medical costs and unexpected repairs to the family home.

She has been denied a remortgage, home loan and reverse mortgage, for reasons of age and only Social Security for income. Lenders will not allow her to access the homes equity and therefore cannot make some much needed repairs. 

Please consider helping so she doesn't lose her home.  Any help given, no matter what, will be very much appreciated.

When the house is sold, a portion of the money will be donated to others who are fighting similar battles.
