Welcome to our SISA Community Impact campaign! We are reaching out to compassionate individuals like you to support our mission of rehabilitating and improving Mulambe Primary School, located in a remote part of Binga District in Matabeleland North Province, Zimbabwe, Africa. This region is one of the most impoverished areas in the country, facing numerous challenges, including limited access to basic services, high poverty rates, and a lack of economic opportunities.

Our Mission: With your generous contributions, we aim to create a conducive learning environment by renovating the school, and teacher cottages, purchasing educational books, and providing essential furniture. Together, we can empower these young minds and pave the way for a brighter future. Our goal is to raise Aus $20,000, and every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact.

About Mulambe Primary School: Mulambe Primary School serves as the sole educational institution in this isolated community, catering to over 200 students aged 6 to 13. Despite the determination of the students and the efforts of the dedicated teachers, the school faces numerous challenges due to inadequate infrastructure and limited resources.

Rehabilitation and Infrastructure: The school buildings and teacher accommodation are in urgent need of repair. The classrooms are dilapidated, with leaking roofs and crumbling walls that pose risks to both students and teachers. By raising funds, we aim to renovate and reconstruct these classrooms, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for the students. Proper maintenance and repairs will enhance their overall learning experience and boost their motivation to attend school regularly.

Educational Resources: The availability and quality of educational resources in Binga are limited. Many schools in the area suffer from a lack of funding, including textbooks, teaching materials, and qualified teachers. This hampers the educational opportunities for children in the region. At present, Mulambe Primary School lacks access to educational materials and resources crucial for effective learning. Our campaign aims to provide the students with an enriching education by equipping the school library with a diverse range of books, including textbooks, storybooks, and reference materials. These resources will broaden their horizons, inspire their imaginations, and nurture a love for learning.

Furniture and Learning Facilities: The school currently lacks basic furniture such as desks, chairs, and tables. Students often sit on the floor or make do with broken and inadequate seating arrangements. We have already donated 40 chairs and 40 tables last year, but this is not enough. Your donations will allow us to provide sturdy and comfortable furniture, creating a more comfortable and supportive environment that promotes better concentration and engagement during lessons.
