Mules Surf Team - Leilehua High School - Wahiawa

SantoLoco Surf Shop is proud to be sponsoring the Mules Surf Team at Leilehua High School! We are really impressed by the students’ initiative to get this team going again after a 20 year hiatus—even without any formal support!

This is the message from the team:

“The Mules Surf Team started August 2023. Since surfing is not part of the high school athletics program we do not get any school resources or funding. We need to raise money to cover our contest fee to participate in the Hawai’i High School Surf Challenge any extra funds will be used to off set team expenses like lifeguard training, safety gear, and equipment. As a small and new club any donation is appreciated in helping us to offer competitive surfing and connect our haumanā to Hawai’i culture, ocean stewardship, ocean safety and sports, and the surf industry, while representing Leilehua High School and the Wahiawā community.”
