Mullen Family's Hope for Baby Lakelynn

Our names are Elizabeth and Chris Mullen. In Late November we found out we were expecting a bundle of joy, we were both so excited.

January 31st we found out not only are we having a little girl but she has a life limiting condition called anencephaly. For those of you who don't know what that is anencephaly it's when a baby is born with an underdeveloped brain and an incomplete skull.

We made the decision to continue with the pregnancy and love our little girl for the time we have.

I started seeing a specialist team weekly, genetic counseling, running more tests, seeing a fetal specialist, working with different doctors for our daughters end of life care. I have good insurance but the copay have added up quickly. We have started to plan her cremation and looking at the cost of the cremation on top of everything else is starting to become over whelming.

So I am making this gofundme to ask for help in giving our Daughter Lakelynn the most proper hello and goodbye into and out of this world. And to give my family a piece of her that we can cherish forever.
