Mullingar Pride needs help.

Mullingar Pride was formed in October last year with a vision to bring Pride to the town for the first time in celebration and solidarity of its large LGBTQ+ community.

However, we have reached a crossroads and are unsure if the festival will be able to go ahead. This is all due to costs running higher then expected particularly regarding insurance prices for our parade and events.
Over the last few months our committee has worked very hard to raise as much funds as possible, but we are running out of time and there is only so much we can do.

One of Mullingar Prides future goals is to set up an LGBTQ+ support group with the profits from our events. This support group is greatly needed in the town as there is an alarmingly high number of people needing help and support for their sexuality or identity within the town and the surrounding areas at the moment. We are inundated on our socials particularly with young people looking for help and we just can't provide it at this time.

Please give what you can, it is greatly appreciated. Let's make this pride happen and start creating a space for LGBTQ+ people within our community.
