Multidisciplinary Endometriosis Excision Surgery

Hi everyone.

My name is Aimee, and I am an endometriosis advocate in Ireland. Since having expert surgery in Bucharest in 2019, I've been able to return to college as a social care student and participate in countless awareness campaigns to better educate our doctors, policy makers and the public on the detriments of our condition. The surgery really changed my life and proved the possibilities are limitless for people like me, with the right supports.

Unfortunately, the chronic pain from this incurable condition has once again become unbearable, and it's significantly impacting my ability to study and work. I am hoping to return to Bucharest in December for another surgery before going on work placement which is a mandatory requirement to obtain my Degree.

I know everyone is struggling financially, so even sharing this campaign will greatly help. The medical cannabis community and endometriosis community have convinced me to reach out for support and I am eternally grateful for the encouragement I continue to receive.

The funds will be used to pay for surgery, flights and accommodation. The flights will be more expensive due to being so close to Christmas but it's the only availability and I cannot miss this golden opportunity to feel well again.

I look forward to being able to concentrate on providing unwavering support to the community again once I am in better physical and emotional shape.

***UPDATE***

I was premature in estimating the required goal as I didn't anticipate the extra costs for MRI, blood work, hospital stay, etc. Also the flights and accommodation are much more expensive than expected and this is the reason for the increased target.
